This Free Printable Super Reader Kit used to live on our sister site Homeschool On A Budget, but we moved it hear where it could get a little more love.
Free Printable Super Reader Kit with Reading Log, Certificate, and Punch Cards to really give kids incentive to read! Perfect for homeschoolers!
My kids are readers! They love to read! But just like all kids they get distracted by technology and other things that are going on. I like to encourage reading as a first choice when they are “bored”. I made this fun Printable Super Reader Kit!
- Reading Log
- Super Reader Certificate
- Super Reader Punch Cards
How I Use it
Each kid gets a weekly reading log and a punch card. When they hand in a completed weekly reading log they get a punch and a certificate. They also get a punch when they finish and “at level” book. Once they have 5 punches they get a prize. The prize can be whatever you choose.
In my house some prizes include:
- Movie Night
- Game Night
- Candy Bar
- Small Item from Dollar Store
- Extra iPad Free Time
The reason I say “at level” book is my 11 year old would keep reading a bunch of kindergarten books just to get punches if I let him.
This set is also perfect for homeschoolers and teachers. It helps you keep track of the students reading for the week. I have included Saturday but left Sunday off as a day of rest.
