Peaches are in season and I have a bunch ready to be used. Since it is Taco Tuesday I thought I would make a batch of this amazing Peach Salsa. This recipe is so simple and so satisfying. Honestly this is one of my favorites this time of year and it is incredible with some freshly grilled chicken.
For this recipe you need a few simple ingredients, a cutting boards, and a knife.
- Bell Pepper
- Jalapeno (optional)
Fresh peaches are amazing but you can also use frozen peaches to enjoy this tasty salsa year-round!
Grab a medium sized bowl. Wash and dice/finely chop all of your ingredients. Stir them together and cover with lime juice.
The jalapeño can be omitted or seeded to adjust the heat level.
This is best made ahead at least 1 hour for the flavors to blend.
Enjoy with chips or your favorite meal. This Peach Salsa is amazing on chicken or pork. You can also replace the peach with mango to create a delicious Mango Salsa that is incredible on fish!
Store any uneaten salsa in the fridge in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
You can total can this Peach Salsa too! I prefer it fresh because canning it will change the texture a little. However, the flavors will be just as bright and incredible.
Make it according to the recipe. Place salsa in sterilized canning jars with 1/2 inch of headspace. Process with a boiling water canner for 15 minutes. Label and store in a cool dry place until ready to use.
