Polar Bear Paw Cupcakes Recipe
Celebrate the chilly weather with this fun Polar Bear Paw Cupcakes Recipe. Such a cute simple decorating idea for a party or just for fun!
Holiday cupcakes with a twist! That is what these Polar Bear Paw Cupcakes are! My kids love animals of any kind, so I thought it would be fun to whip up some polar bear paw cupcakes to celebrate the cooler weather outside.
These turned out so much better than I expected and they are so easy to make! The kids had a blast helping me make them…and eat them! It is always a fun way to spend a chilly day baking in the kitchen with your favorite people.
How to Make Polar Bear Paw Cupcakes
We made cupcakes using a box mix. You can also use this Homemade Cake Mix; they turn out AMAZING! I mixed in some blue food coloring to make the cupcakes look like the arctic ocean water! I followed the directions on the mix to bake the cupcakes.
When the cupcakes were baked and cooled we iced them with some Buttercream frosting. Then immediately dipped them into a bowl of shredded coconut, for Polar Bear fur of course. Finally, we topped the cupcakes with a store-bought chocolate sandwich cookie and some chocolate covered raisins to make the paw prints! Crazy Simple!
Gluten Free
You can even buy gluten-free sandwich cookies and make gluten-free cupcakes for a gluten-free cupcake option! Try this Gluten Free Yellow Cake Mix if you are looking for a great gluten free cake.
I still can’t get over how super duper cute these Cupcakes turned out!
Storage
Keep your extra cupcakes in an airtight container for up to 4 days. May keep longer in the refridgerator.

I made these for my friend (whose nickname is Pearbear), and they were super cute! I used peppermint patties instead of oreos which added to the arctic feel and tasted great. 🙂
