How to Make Blue Glitter Glue for Slime & More
There are many fun things I would like to tip my hat to Pinterest for. Pinterest has really opened up the world of the internet to more creative crafts and recipes and made many of the best viral. One of those is kids slime made out of glue, and with Summer here everyone wants Blue Glitter Glue to make clear “Ocean” slime. We are among the masses that made a trip to the store only to find they were sold out. So we figured out how to make blue glitter glue for slime and more!
Just so you know. I did check Amazon and a bottle of Elmer’s Blue Glitter Glue was going for $11! That is NUTSO, especially considering plain clear glue was on sale at Walmart for $1.77 the other day. I am sure it will drop even more during the back to school sales. So we picked up a few bottles of the clear glue.
How to Make Blue Glitter Glue
You will need
Directions
- Pour the clear school glue out of the bottle and into a bowl. Add two drops of blue food coloring. A little goes a long way for this one. Use a popsicle stick or plastic spoon to stir it well.
- Once it is mixed gradually add a little bit of the craft glitter. Again, a little goes a long way so start with a small amount and add more as needed.
- When you have the glitter glue mixed you can return it to the bottle with a funnel or leave it in the bowl to make your slime.
We chose to make slime and we also made other colors too! Not just blue! So much fun for the kids…and mom!
