We are in the middle of full Halloween Decoration mode at my house. We made this DIY Spider Vase and had to make a couple more! I just love them. They really are a fun, simple, spooky decoration!
DIY Spider Vase
You will Need
- Glass Vase (Found this at the Dollar Tree)
- Hot Glue Gun & Hot Glue
- Sharpie
- Black Spray Paint
- Black Toy Spider
Use a black sharpie and draw a spider web on your vase. It doesn’t need to be perfect.
Now use your hot glue gun and go over your spider web design. The idea is to make it raised like a 3d effect.
You don’t have to do be meticulous when doing this. I think the little glue strings make it look more like a real web.
Now you are going to spray paint the entire vase black. Including the hot glue. Let it dry. Finally, you can attach your spider. I just hot glued mine right onto the front. I found these big tarantulas at Walgreens in a 6 pack and they were perfect.
Super spooky and only cost me a couple dollars! I love them!
