DSCN2537Yes…you read right.   CARAMEL APPLE PORK CHOPS!  Sounds too good to be true, huh?!  These babies are as delicious as they sound!

They are a perfect fall, fill you up meal! They are so good the kids love them, but they are fancy enough you could serve them for a dinner party!  A win win in my book.  Not to mention they are easy to make!

I served them with Mashed potatoes and Green beans.  You could serve them with rice if you prefer.  Or, even better, Sweet potato Casserole  ~drooling~.   :)

Here is the recipe without further delay!  The meal deal will follow! Hope you guys have an awesome weekend!  Snackurday will be up tomorrow, although….I have no idea what I am going to make yet! :)   It will come to me!

I was able to work my deals to get the other items I needed for this recipe and am happy to report that I attempted it TODAY for Sunday dinner. My parents cannot have too much pork due to medical issues, therefore, I substituted the pork chops with chicken. Amanda, Amanda, Amanda….it was awesome! My mom stated that I could cook that for a nice candlelight meal or a church event. I served it with rice and steamed cabbage.

Thanks so much for the inspiration. It was great to get back in the kitchen and cook something NEW! There was NO food left for leftovers!

Reaping In Abundance,
Kay

Ellen,

They make dairy free margarine! Isn’t this a great world? I don’t know what I would do without dairy free alternatives!

Thanks for reading!
Let me know what you think!

We tried the Caramel Apple Pork Chops last night. I bought thinly sliced chops and they got a little overcooked. Next time, I’ll reduce the cooking time. Pork chops are new for me….my husband was happy to see them on the table. They were yummy and I will definitely try this one again! Thanks :)

I made this for dinner tonight, substituted with chicken because I didn’t have any pork chops on hand. SO good! Thanks for the recipe. I linked up to the recipe on my blog :)

Oh my gosh! These sound delicous. So now I will have to make these, the apple dumplings, and the granola some time this week! I can’t wait! I love to cook, but it seems that I have been sticking to the same recipes over and over lately. I haven’t done pork in forever! My husband is going to love this! Thank you! Thank you!

Do you think this would work in a Crock Pot?
