Shortcut Cheese & Fruit Danish
I just got back from my trip to Green Giant in Minnesota this week. It was so nice to spend two nights in a hotel and let someone else do the cooking and cleaning. Every morning when I came downstairs there was a Starbucks and a huge breakfast buffet. I thought I had died and gone to heaven.
Now I am home and I missed my family so much! Now if I could just wake up in the morning to Starbucks and a buffet I would be set! Since that isn’t going to happen, I thought I would bring a little bit of the buffet home. There were these really great Danish made out of puff pastry. Puff pastry can take a lot of work, and I am all about shortcuts! So, I came up with these super easy cheese Danish made out of Biscuit mix. They are flaky, rich, and delicious, just like the ones at the hotel. Just perfection with a hot cup of coffee.
Take a few minutes to make these this weekend, and dream that you are on vacation…even if it lasts for just a minute.

In your picture of ingredients you have half and half and then you mention milk in the recipe. Does it matter or when you mention milk you mean half and half.
